Allergies to spices are underestimated and could affect up to 3% of the population, according to data presented during the annual meeting of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. - Agriculture Committee member pushes for Farm Bill vote
U.S. House Agriculture Committee ranking member Collin Peterson, D-Minn., exhorted House Republican leaders to take the necessary steps for voting soon on the five-year Farm Bill authored by the committee. "The election is over so it's time to get to work," Peterson said. "There is no good reason not to vote on the bill when we return next week, before Thanksgiving ... - Mintel puts India on top for chocolate growth
Chocolate sales in India grew 21% between 2008 and 2011, making the country the fastest-growing market for chocolate, according to Mintel.
