AMR Corp., the parent company of American Airlines, reported a monthly profit for January of $44 million. - Airport officials, airlines prepare for sequester
Airport officials are planning for budget cuts from the sequester. "While the safety of air travelers will never be compromised, we will continue as always to work collaboratively with our federal partners to keep the impacts on our travelers at a minimum," said Victoria Lupica, spokeswoman for Philadelphia International Airport. United's baggage-delivery program is now available at 36 airports including Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. The program offers delivery within a 100-mile radius of the airport, and the fee is in addition to regular checked-bag fees.
