- Women clearly lead men in social media for communication
A much higher proportion of American women than men communicate via social media, according to a study by Harris Interactive for Rebtel. The figures were 68% for women and 54% for men among online adults. "Our findings show that men tend to lag behind women when it comes to communicating with others through social media, which debunks other recent studies that suggest that men are more savvy networkers between the sexes," said Rebtel CEO Andreas Bernstrom.
