Time Warner Cable has released an application for iOS and Android devices, PCs and Mac computers that allows subscribers in New York, Dallas and Charlotte, N.C., to stream live national and local sports programming. - Mobile is due for a jump in ad spending
Ad spending on mobile is likely to surge but for now is only a small fraction of what it could be, and Google and Facebook are part of the reason, analysts say. Google has mobile ads only on YouTube.
