- Huge solar project shows need for subsidies, experts say
Andasol, the world's largest solar plant, recently went into operation on a sprawling site in southern Spain. Experts say the facility, which cost more than $450 million to develop, wouldn't have been built without government incentives, but future projects may not be so lucky.
