  • Breakfast menus increasingly feature yogurt, research shows
    Yogurt is on 36% percent more restaurant breakfast menus than it was in 2008, according to menu research firm Datassential.   • Lawsuit seeks quicker action on food safety
    The FDA says it needs more time to implement rules associated with the Food Safety Modernization Act and asked the U.S. District Court to dismiss a lawsuit filed by the Center for Food Safety and the Center for Environmental Health. "FDA's decisions regarding enforcement actions are not subject to judicial review, and the defendants have not, as a matter of law, unreasonably delayed the adoption of regulations implementing FSMA," government lawyers said.
