  • New chairman is appointed to U.S. House Aviation Subcommittee
Rep. Frank LoBiondo, R-N.J., has been appointed to serve as the new chairman of the U.S. House of Representative's Aviation Subcommittee. The appointment has received praise from aviation groups. "LoBiondo is an outstanding choice for chairman ... as he has a solid understanding of the industry, in part because his congressional district is home to several significant aviation facilities, including the FAA's Tech Center, the TSA's Security Lab, the Federal Air Marshal training facility and Atlantic City International Airport," said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen.
