- Hawaiian Airlines will add Taipei-to-Honolulu route
Hawaiian Airlines will begin nonstop service from Taipei to Honolulu in July. The flights will operate three times a week on an A330-200 jet. Boeing has announced plans to restructure its commercial jet business into two divisions -- development and production. - Airbus CEO anticipates positive outlook for Airbus, EADS
Airbus has a bright outlook for the next four to five years, President and CEO Fabrice Brégier says. He does not anticipate the EADS restructuring to negatively affect Airbus. David McKinley R-W.Va., leads a bipartisan group of House members who have proposed a resolution saying that Congress opposes efforts by the U.S. government to levy a carbon tax on gasoline, coal or natural gas. The American Bankruptcy Institute is seeking to review high-publicity bankruptcy cases and ultimately propose congressional legislation.
