  • Maternal stress during infancy may affect teen girls' brain function
    Girls who as babies lived with highly stressed mothers had higher levels of cortisol in preschool and had weaker connections between the amygdala and the ventromedial prefrontal cortex in their teen years, University of Wisconsin-Madison researchers said.
