  • Norwegian Cruise Line revises Mediterranean itineraries through 2014
    Norwegian Cruise Line has announced that several sailings across the Eastern Mediterranean in winter 2013-2014 will no longer call on Alexandria, Egypt, and will instead visit Naples, Italy, and Istanbul. The cruise line also says that it has removed port calls to Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the Canary Islands from its scheduled nine-night voyages to Morocco and the Canary Islands in winter 2013-2014.   • Group hotel occupancy is showing growth, survey finds
    The TravelClick North American Hospitality Review for December 2012 indicates that group hotel bookings have begun to recover. Data show a 2.2% rise in group bookings from the fourth quarter of 2012 through the third quarter of 2013. "Based on TravelClick data, it appears that decline in group was temporary. ...
