- Cessna business jets could be made in China
Cessna Aircraft Co. is in talks with Aviation Industry Corp. of China about a possible joint venture that could lead to Cessna business jets being manufactured in China. Aviation Industry and Cessna will also "jointly pursue a general aviation business in China," this feature says. Five aviation organizations are urging Congress to get serious about alternatives for leaded avgas. They'd like to see money for development of alternatives in the Federal Aviation Administration's 2013 budget. - Fla. Sky Fest performer will honor his wing-walker wife
Kyle Franklin was badly burned during a stunt performance at last year's New Smyrna Beach Balloon & Sky Fest in Florida. His wing-walker wife died from the injuries she suffered in the crash. But the show must go on and Kyle returns this weekend to honor his late wife, Amanda. "I'm back to basics and starting over," said Kyle, who will perform at this year's Sky Fest.
