  • Sahara Group reportedly acquires Dream Downtown hotel in NYC
    Sahara Group has reportedly purchased the Dream Downtown hotel in New York, right on the heels of its purchase of a majority stake in the iconic Plaza Hotel. New York hotelier Vikram Chatwal has reportedly sold the 315-room Dream Downtown to Sahara for $220 million. Sahara's total investments in the two hotel acquisitions amount to nearly $800 million, and the company is said to be searching for more New York hotels to buy.
