    Adults ate, on average, about 11% of their daily calories from fast food between 2007 and 2010, down from 13% from 2003 to 2006, CDC researchers reported on Thursday.   • Calif. district drops health, geography from graduation requirements
    The school board for Temecula Valley Unified School District in California voted Tuesday to immediately halt requirements that students take health and geography courses to graduate from high school. The courses still will be offered as electives, but officials say eliminating them as requirements will allow more time for students to participate in band, International Baccalaureate, student government and other programs.
