U.K. agency pushes producers to meet glass recycling rules
U.K. companies that haven't met their glass recycling obligations must do so for 2012 or face penalties, according to Defra, the agency charged with enforcing environmental rules. Eco-innovation helps companies boost profit
Business-model innovation is the missing link between corporate sustainability efforts and improved bottom-line performance, experts say. A study found that half of companies whose CSR efforts led them to change three or four elements of their business model saw a significant profit boost, against just 37% of companies that changed only a single element of their business model.
