- ISA builds bridges to dynamic digital signage industry
A delegation of ISA members and staff attended the recent InfoComm 2012 show in Las Vegas to explore dynamic digital signage opportunities. InfoComm 2012 drew more than 34,000 audio/video professionals from 90 countries. The dynamic digital signage industry, which is growing at a phenomenal rate and is expected to double in the next five years, presents business opportunities for the traditional sign industry. - ISA publishes State of the Industry report
At the ISA International Sign Expo 2012, attendees were asked their thoughts on the industry as well as their own businesses. The survey included more than 200 sign supply manufacturers, distributors, sign shops, end users and other participants in the industry. The resulting report analyzes business confidence, industry trends, hiring and buying intentions, and threats/concerns. It also provides comparative graphs to the 2011 State of the Industry survey. Both the 2011 and the 2012 reports are available on the ISA website and show a few key points: 86% of companies experienced business growth, 71% expect to hire new staff this year, and eight specific market segments are expected to provide ample opportunities for business development.
