  • Norwegian Cruise Line plans Grammy-themed sailing in 2014
    Norwegian Cruise Line announced that the Norwegian Getaway will set off on a Grammy-themed cruise in 2014 as part of a new partnership with The Recording Academy. The "Grammy Experience at Sea" will include a display of Grammy-themed memorabilia on the Getaway as well as live performances by past Grammy winners and nominees.   • U.S. airlines compete for expanded service to Brazil
    U.S. airlines are competing for expanded airline service to Sao Paulo, Brazil. An agreement with Brazil will allow 14 additional weekly flights this year, but U.S. carriers have applied for 28 additional flights.   • Survey: Family vacations create lasting memories
    A survey commissioned by the U.S. Travel Association found that family vacations make up the earliest and most vivid childhood recollections among 62% of adults. "We assumed there would be a connection between memories and vacations, but it was surprising to learn that some of people's most vivid childhood memories are of family vacations that happened when they were as young as 5," said Regina Corso of Harris Interactive, which conducted the survey.
