  • DIRECTV reports revenue, profit increases; CEO White will stay
    DIRECTV's U.S. revenues grew by more than 6% in the third quarter and profit was up 9.5% as the satellite provider added 67,000 new subscribers from a year ago, the company reported. Counting Latin America, DIRECTV now has almost 20 million subscribers. Also, the company announced Friday that Chairman, President and CEO Michael White has agreed to stay on, and he will no longer have a fixed employment term.
