  • Will Scripps be in play once family trust is dissolved?
    The passing of the grandson of the founder of newspaper company the E.W. Scripps Co. raises the possibility that the family could sell its majority interest in Scripps Networks Interactive. The death of Robert P. Scripps, the final surviving recipient of the Edward W. Scripps Trust, which controls 90% of voting shares in the two companies, means the trust will be dismantled.
