  • More hospitals, providers receive EHR incentives
    About three-fourths of eligible hospitals and one-third of eligible doctors and other health care personnel have received incentives for EHR system adoption, data from CMS revealed. A total of $9.3 billion has been released since the incentive payment program commenced, with $6.1 billion going to hospitals and $3.1 billion going to professionals including physicians, the agency's November report stated.     LifeNexus has raised $2.2 million from 16 investors to support its personal health cards that allow users to bring their health data with them anytime.
