- Pratt & Whitney is "bullish" on biofuels, executive says
Aircraft engine developer Pratt & Whitney expects that its future engines will use biofuels, but a lack of renewable jet fuel production and infrastructure is a concern, said Alan Epstein, the company's vice president of technology and environment. Camelina is a promising source of renewable jet fuel, but technology still needs to improve and growers still need to find a way to boost yield, Epstein said. "We are bullish on biofuel.
