    Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has contributed to planting bamboo in China's Sichuan province for a new panda center that will rescue elderly and sick pandas. Shangri-La Hotel Chengdu plans to give guests access to the center, which will open in 2013, so they can take educational tours and prepare food for the animals.
