TSA will increase the number of bomb-sniffing dogs for screenings
The Transportation Security Administration will increase the number of bomb-sniffing canine units it employs in 2013, thanks in part to a research opportunity funded by the Department of Homeland Security. Denver airport introduces free global calling
A new service at Denver International Airport has set up more than 200 phones to provide customers with unlimited free domestic phone calls and free international phone calls up to 10 minutes. Registration is now open for the 12th Annual AAAE/TSA/DHS Aviation Security Summit taking place Dec. 10 and 11 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, Va. The 12th Annual AAAE/TSA/DHS Aviation Security Summit will continue the tradition of AAAE and federal aviation security policymakers coming together at a joint summit to review the complex issues surrounding aviation security today. Senior TSA and DHS officials, as well as representatives from other federal agencies and Congress, will speak at the summit.
