- SEB, Nordic banks roll out Swish mobile payments
Quick and secure mobile payments are now offered through the Swish service from Nordic financial services group SEB, along with Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Länsförsäkringar Bank, Nordea, Swedbank and Sparbankerna. Swish apps are available for both iOS and Android devices. "Through this cooperation with other banks in Sweden, we provide the opportunity for our customers to transfer money seamlessly from their own mobile phones to a bank account," said SEB head of retail Mats Torstendahl. Despite a slow start, mobile advertising is gaining traction, and in five years, ads on phones alone should account for 4.4% of all types of advertising worldwide, including legacy media, according to projections by Berg Insight.
