Rotational instrumental delivery for fetal malposition was associated with no worse neonatal outcomes than cesarean section, according to a study in the American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Researchers found that mothers who were younger, delivered during the daytime and who had a lower body mass index had increased odds of undergoing rotational instrumental delivery.
