Texas Health Resources responds to security threats with critical measures

With hospitals becoming increasingly at risk for data security attacks, Texas Health Resources CIO Ed Marx said his organization has adopted critical measures to better respond to these threats. These measures include requiring all staff members to attend a privacy and security class at least once each year, and giving the health system's chief security and compliance officers the authority to make big security decisions.
