CEA SmartBrief | Mar 02, 2015

Samsung has announced its Galaxy S6 and curved-screen S6 Edge aluminum frame smartphones, which feature Samsung's own 64-bit Exynos processors, a fingerprint scanner and a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera and will soon feature the mobile payment application "Samsung Pay," which works with common magnetic-strip-reading registers. Samsung has not yet set pricing for the phones, but the S6 Edge is supposed to cost more. Wall Street Journal (tiered subscription model), The (03/01) CNET (03/02) Bloomberg (03/01)
