Boeing 787 with new battery system completes test flight

Boeing completed the first test flight of its 787 Dreamliner with a retooled lithium-ion battery system on Monday. The flight, with six crew members aboard, lasted about two hours. "The crew reports that the flight went according to plan," said spokesman Marc Birtel.
