AIA's first Trade Compliance Standard is now available for purchase

The Trade Compliance Standards (TCS) project is a new initiative launched by the Aerospace Industries Association to develop a suite of process standards that will provide best practices for the aerospace and defense industry to comply with the U.S. export and import control regimes. KPMG and SCB Training led a committee of AIA member companies to develop TCS001: Document marking, storage, and electronic transmission of technical data. To purchase TCS001 please visit AIA's NAS website at www.aia-nas.org and click on the purchase link. If you have access to the NAS standards through an IHS subscription, TCS001 will be included in the IHS Standards Expert. NAS 3D CAD model library now available

AIA is now offering 3D CAD models of the most frequently used National Aerospace Standards (NAS) parts. Through AIA's partnership with IHS and PARTsolutions, design engineers can access authorized 3D CAD models that will reduce design time, improve productivity, and reduce duplication of effort and potential for error. IFBEC 2014 Public Accountability Report now available

The International Forum on Business Ethical Conduct (IFBEC) released the results of its 2014 Public Accountability Report at the 5th Annual IFBEC Conference on 6-7 Nov. in Brussels. The report (available for download here) highlights the continued maturation of ethics and compliance programs amongst IFBEC's membership and serves the goal of promoting and fostering the development of global, industry-wide ethical standards for companies active in the aerospace and defense sector. IFBEC is a collective action initiated by member companies of the Aerospace Industries Association of America and the Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Europe in 2010.
