Consortium is developing 3D-printed concrete

Concrete SmartBrief | May 20, 2015

A Spanish consortium, which includes Prodintec, Coprosa and Tudela VeguĂn, is working to develop 3D-printed concrete technology. The Con3D Consortium recently organized a 3D-printing conference and, during a demonstration, displayed a 3D-printed concrete couch. The group hopes to "3D print specialized concrete, mortar, and traditional concrete using a large-scale robotic arm 3D printer," which "could transform the way we construct buildings," Brian Krassenstein writes. 3DPrint.com (05/20)
