Cartilage allograft gives young athlete a chance to play again

Sydney Boike is playing basketball for her Crookston High School team in Minnesota again after receiving an osteochondral allograft to treat a knee injury. Donated cartilage and bone were used to repair the joint. "Basketball has been such a passion for Sydney. The prospect of not being able to play was pretty scary," said Chris Boike, Sydney's mother.
