SNM and SmartBrief, Inc. Partner on Daily News Update

SmartBrief today launched an electronic news brief in collaboration with SNM, the world's largest molecular imaging and nuclear medicine society. SNM SmartBrief is distributed free of charge to SNM members and other physicians, technologists and scientists specializing in the research and practice of molecular imaging and nuclear medicine.

SmartBrief, Inc. uses proprietary software to search hundreds of websites, newspapers, professional journals and blogs for news of interest to molecular imaging and nuclear medicine professionals. A SmartBrief editor will select the most relevant content, draft custom summaries of the day's top stories and compile them in an easy-to-read electronic newsletter delivered every morning to subscribers' desktops.

In addition to covering all aspects of molecular imaging and nuclear medicine, SNM SmartBrief includes sections on clinical research, international developments, health policy, and grants and funding.

SNM Chief Executive Officer Virginia Pappas said, "SmartBrief's depth of experience in healthcare news made them a natural fit for SNM. SNM SmartBrief will give our subscribers a comprehensive overview of the news of the day in an easy-to read format."

"With the addition of SNM SmartBrief, we now publish 14 different newsletters for healthcare practitioners and professionals," said Rick Stamberger, president and Chief Executive Officer of SmartBrief, Inc. From imaging technology being developed in the laboratory, to healthcare legislation being debated on Capitol Hill, SmartBrief's editors are experts in delivering need-to-know healthcare news.
