Justice Index ranks states on legal access issues

A National Center for Access to Justice report gave Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maine, Minnesota and Tennessee top scores for providing legal access to courts for people with disabilities. Indiana scored the lowest. The index ranked states on issues such as availability of legal aid attorneys, information on accommodations or filling complaints, service dogs and charges for sign-language interpreters.
