Former electrical contractor CEO and his wife tentatively resolve surety's lawsuit

The CEO of a bankrupt Virginia electrical-contracting business and his wife have reached an agreement with a surety company that, if approved, will avoid a civil trial. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed. The lawsuit alleges that the couple committed fraud related to millions of dollars' worth of collateral pledged to obtain surety bonds.
