Spectrum auction to move to Stage 4 after failing to secure enough bids

NAB SmartBrief | Dec 06, 2016

The Federal Communications Commission's broadcast spectrum auction will be moving into a fourth stage that will likely begin Dec. 13 after the third stage failed to bring in enough bids. "The results of the latest round of the TV auction leave us scratching our heads, given the decade-long refrain of a spectrum crunch," said the National Association of Broadcasters' Gordon Smith.
