WEDI releases white paper on health IT cybersecurity

Health care organizations should increase investments in cybersecurity to protect health IT infrastructure against cybercriminals, according to a white paper released by the Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange. The white paper also includes best practices for mitigating potential cybersecurity problems and information on the types of health IT vulnerabilities and attacks, and stresses the importance of developing practices and flexible frameworks that can adapt to emerging cyberthreats.
