FDA releases list of patient-centered drug-development initiatives

The FDA plans to seek patient input on eight medical conditions during the 2016 and 2017 fiscal years under the Patient-Focused Drug Development program. The conditions are alopecia areata, autism, hereditary angioedema, non-tuberculous mycobacterial infections, organ transplant, psoriasis, neuropathic pain associated with peripheral neuropathy and sarcopenia.
