Analyst: T-Mobile, Comcast take up to 75% of spectrum

CCA SmartBrief | Apr 06, 2017

T-Mobile and Comcast were the big spenders during the Federal Communications Commission's broadcast spectrum auction, which ended last week after the FCC received nearly $19.8 billion in bids. The two companies snatched up as much as 75% of the spectrum, UBS analyst John Hodulik estimated; he suggested that T-Mobile will be paying up to $10 billion for 30 MHz, while Comcast will spend up to $6 billion for 20 MHz of spectrum.
