Rendering: Beautiful pedestrian bridge isn't easily accessible

A 700-foot-long, 12-foot-wide curved pedestrian bridge is planned as part of the I-4 Ultimate project in Florida. The $2.6 million bridge with its 80-foot-tall arch is supposed to be an integral part of the $2.3 billion project, but some wonder how people will access it given the area's heavy traffic. "They've giving us a Lamborghini here; please give us some gas," said Maitland Mayor Dale McDonald. SGL Constructors is working to develop a solution. Orlando Sentinel (Fla.)
