Experimental osseointegration procedure is designed to prevent infection

AOPA In Advance SmartBrief | Feb 21, 2017

A military veteran and a man whose legs were crushed in a head-on collision will be the first amputees to receive a new type of permanent prosthesis developed over 15 years by orthopedic surgeon Ronald Hugate.
