Clean diesel produced out of thin air plus water

Diesel fuel has been created from nothing but air and water by Sunfire, a partner of Germany's Audi. The three-stage process uses solar or wind energy to heat steam to more than 1,472 degrees to obtain hydrogen, which is then mixed with carbon dioxide, with the result refined into carbon-neutral diesel fuel.
