Toshiba predicts historic loss as Westinghouse bankrupts

A bankruptcy filing by US nuclear unit Westinghouse Electric has Japanese conglomerate Toshiba expecting a net loss of more than $9 billion for fiscal 2016. That would give Toshiba the biggest net loss in its 140-year history, and the company is expected to end fiscal 2016 with negative net worth.
