Research at the European Congress on Obesity found young, healthy individuals can start losing muscle and developing fat around their organs after just two weeks of a sedentary lifestyle. Lead researcher Kelly Bowden-Davies at the University of Liverpool said individuals who returned to having an active lifestyle saw these changes reversed within two weeks. HealthDay News (05/17)
