Agencies react to overtime injunction

Agencies that have been preparing for new overtime legislation over the past eight months have been left in limbo following a Texas judge's injunction to prevent adoption of the new federal rules. The American Association of Advertising Agencies' Dick O'Brien said that the group supports the option proposed by Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., which seeks to gradually phase in threshold increases over a four-year period and eliminates automatic raises linked to inflation and rising costs of living.
