  • Education of APRNs gets $200M boost from HHS under ACA
HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced on Monday a $200 million, four-year grant program under the Affordable Care Act aimed at increasing the number of advanced practice registered nurses offering primary care. The grant to five hospitals will be used in the training of nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, nurse anesthetists and nurse midwives.
