Job Search Best Practices
How to recognize the best career advice
When it comes to good career and job-seeking advice, it's best to take suggestions with a grain of salt, advises Stephanie Eberle, the career center director at the Stanford School of Medicine. "A good mentor will give you options based on what they've seen and help you come up with your own ideas for how to market yourself best – not simply tell you what you 'should' do," she writes in this commentary.
